All Hallows Eve

The big debut of Kostumes by Katy occurred over the span of several days, seeing as Halloween in a college town is a week-long holiday...

    You are incredible...I can't believe you did those. I am thoroughly impressed once again. Maybe you could teach me some sewing lessons because every time I come up with a sewing project I need step by step instructions from my mother dear...LOVE YOU!

One Year

I can still feel the memory almost as vividly as the moment I was experiencing it. I was dressed in white, walking into one of the most beautiful rooms of the Temple, and as I passed the threshold of the room, I crossed a tangible barrier of love. Tears flooded my eyes and I was overwhelmed at the support and excitement I felt from everyone in that room. Then I looked up at Dave’s face and was in awe that I had finally arrived. Arrived to the place where I could truly love with my whole heart and trust without abandon; all with the support of God, my family, dearest friends, and this Man. Method to the madness

Its been ages, but I feel like I have a legitimate list of excuses as to why I've waited so long to post. To put it simply: I've been swamped. With lots of trial and error I've fallen into a groove that I can roll with. School. Church. Gym. Family. Social. Me time. (Unfortunately I cannot say- 'not in this particular order'... because I think this is pretty close to the truth) A little anecdote to prove my point? Okay. So my father loves my mother VERY much. As they came closer and closer to becoming empty-nesters, Bob made sure each child understood that flying the coop was a permanent maneuver. No more than one phone call to mommy a week.
